5 places worth a visit in Stockholm

If you keep up with Design Hunger then you already know how much we cherish Nordic design, lifestyle and atmosphere. During our latest visit to Scandinavia we went to Stockholm and made sure to take notes about all the cool places we visited to share with our readers.

Downtown Camper by Scandic

Let’s start with the amazing hotel Downtown Camper by Scandic, an incredible hotel with rooms with a beautiful view and comfortable beds, amazing bathroom products, and beautifully decorated interiors with nordic design brands such as Hay and Normann Copenhagen

As for breakfast, the Campfire restaurant has a large buffet selection for all tastes and needs including options for vegans and lactose intolerants. A large choice of salty and sweet products, different kinds of bread and cheese, plus waffles, pastries, fresh juices... Mouth-watering, right?

Downtown Camper focus on the well being of its guests, so you have a sound relaxation treatment everyday at 6AM on the net floor, a Yoga channel available on TV, a nice workspace downstairs, and a cinema room!

Besides all of that, you can also enjoy some self care at their Nest space, which includes a spa, a pool, a gym, and a bar & restaurant.

Betón

Betón is a beautiful store for kids goods that sells their own designs but also other products from cool brands such as Ferm Living kids. But hey, they do not accept cash, so if you’re planning on shopping do not forget your credit card!

Gamla Stan

Of course everyone likes to do some sight-seeing when they are in a new city, so we recommend you to take a walk by Gamla Stan - the Old Town. This is one of the largest and best preserved medieval city centers in Europe and also where Stockholm was founded in 1252.

Greasy Spoon

If just like us you’re one for really good brunches, then Greasy Spoon is a must! Their food is delicious, with special love to the Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast and Caffe Latte with soy milk. Of course their cool interior design and super nice staff are on the list of things that make this place special and worth a try.

Moderna Museet

As the design aficionados that we are, we could not forget about Moderna Museet, one of the world's leading museums dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
