Hi, design lovers!

We began July with the excitement and joy of travelling to Paris for three days to attend the I Love Playtime Fair at the Parc Floral. Showcasing the following S/S23 collections of the coolest brand on the market. It was wonderful to see the fair so lively!

With all the fuss of the fair, sometimes it is hard to get all the information processed, specially for buyers. This year playtime continues with one of the best online Marketplaces in the industry - Playtime Marketplace - lasts all year around, so that buyers & sellers have exclusive access to the brands and their new collections.

This marketplace is also an amazing opportunity to browse their 250 brands, especially for those of you who work in the industry and weren't able to attend the fair.

We had the chance to scroll around the Marketplace and bring a special curated selection of our favourite brands from the lifestyle & decor sector. Let’s get into it:

BigStuffed

BigStuffed, based in Paris, creates soft toys that are not only distinct in character and design, but also aesthetically pleasing to adults. BigStuffed can be used for both play and decoration. The whales, octopuses, mammoths, and dinosaurs can only be loved and adopted, and the little ones learn about the delicate animal world.

Babel Brune

Babel Brune's bold colours and vibrant textures are inspired by art. The company creates home furnishings and accessories. We fell in love with the wallhangings. Excellent for adding personality to your child's room.

Bibu

Bibu is a Barcelona-based award-winning interior and lifestyle brand for children. Bibu creates high-design interior products for kids rooms that are joyful, comfortable, and eco-friendly. The wild animals organic + recycled cotton blankets are our absolute favourite.

Heart of Gold

A Belgian childcare brand, where elegance meets refinement. The colours and patterns of Heart of Gold evoke softness and lightness, showing that it is handcrafted. The brand offers children an incomparable romantic bohemian style, and we love the Bob Marley baby basket.

Bonheur du Jour

"Bonheur du jour" is from France. The nomade-chic label offers refined clothing and accessories made with delicate techniques inspired by the brand's close relationship with India. The brand is known for its noble materials, fine embroideries, and lovely details, which are distinguished by a splash of colour to embellish and personalise. Their weekend bags & toiletry bags are our top picks.

Élhée

Have you met Elhée? The brand has long been a favourite of ours, so it was an easy choice for our list. The French brand creates baby bottles that are both ergonomic and stimulating. Made with organic shapes, soft colours, and non-toxic, environmentally safe materials. The innovative design of Élhée is intended to provide babies with a feeling of similarity to natural breastfeeding while also instilling independence.

Petit Lem

To comfort babies from the first moments of their birth until the following years. Parents can rely on Petit Lem for the softest and highest quality baby essentials made from organic cotton.

Coconeh

Coconeh is a European and Mexican brand. Focusing on the craftsmanship of Mexican artisans, the brand creates timeless toys and home decorations. The brand only uses natural materials such as wood, rattan, wicker, and palm leaves. Made in a sustainable, fair, and safe environment. How cute are these?

Bayíri

Nature is a source of inspiration for Bayíri. The brand designs non-seasonal, gender-neutral products that can be passed down through generations. The pieces are hand-knitted in a Spanish factory and sold to be loved all over the world. We adore the curious creatures and handwoven blankets.

Suuky

Suuky is a family-owned clothes and home decor brand. In order to achieve the ideal balance and comfort for your children, the brand strives to deliver the best organic textiles with gentle colours and textures. With a modern twist and a vintage inspired look.

Natruba - La Kumpania de Sandrine

At the marketplace you can find the amazing brand Natruba at La Kumpania de Sandrine, a distribution agency. Natruba is a Danish company that makes eco-friendly teething & bathing toys out of natural hevea rubber. With adorable animal-inspired designs in a variety of textures to encourage your baby's sensory development.

Holi & Love

We chose one of our favourite brands to close big: Holi & Love. With environmental consciousness and the unique hand-printed colour blocking technique made in India. Holi & Love’s range of bags, quilted throws, and cushions combine Indian craftsmanship with Belgian design to create cheerful products to wear every day on any occasion. We love it!
