Learn, play, work: Big and Tiny
The multipurpose space in California
fostering productivity, flexibility and creativity
—
There’s a new colorful place facilitating the lives of working parents in Santa Monica. Big and Tiny was launched last July by Keltze, an entrepreneur, designer and mom of two, with the goal of providing a unique educational space with a dedicated co-working area that meets the high standards of modern families.
Big and Tiny is divided in 3 dedicated areas. A colorful entrance serves as coffee and retail shop, where parents can rest on their breaks. The middle area (and core of the project) is “Tinyland”, a bespoke wooden playground for kids, where they can also take enrichment classes. The third and most secluded space is a co-working, where adults can focus on their tasks, meet other creative parents and enhance their productivity.
Big and Tiny’s beautiful and functional interior design was done by the creative team of Zooco Estudio, an architecture firm based in Spain, and furniture was provided by our loved Danish brands Normann Copenhagen and Ferm Living.
