We are all in for design solutions that fit modern needs, so of course we had to show you guys the amazing new furniture design by the visionary minds form OITO. Created to fit the new lifestyle we all are bound to follow indefinitely from now on, the C-19 bench system comes to reinforce the idea of safe social distancing without compromising our daily lives.

“Stay at home” is the main slogan nowadays. Yet, not everyone can afford to do that as many of us need to leave the safety of our homes and get outside to provide for our families and also go out from time to time to keep our sanity. And inevitably, sooner or later we will face the need to be in the public places again.

The reality of the current situation demands that the public places should become safe or at least safer than before. And the world of the future, however vague it may look right now, will need to stress the importance and ensure individual safety within the realm of public spaces.
That’s precisely why OITO came up with a concept of public benches with built-in individual transparent dividers that would allow people to see and hear each other while reducing the risk of mutual contamination. When the public health risks are reduced, the transparent dividers can be removed or turned into static ad spaces or multimedia ad screens. Plus, the design of the benches ensures reasonable production costs to minimize financial exposure for municipalities.
