Harmonious barbershop

Hello, design junkies!
Little birds whispered that the Canadian barbershop CRISP has gotten a third location. Take a look at the new identity with us.
The third CRISP barbershop opens its doors in The Village, a neighbourhood in Montreal with an upbeat vibe. Behind this barbershop’s new look is who other than Ivy Studio Inc.
Windows facing Ontario Street, the 750 square foot space becomes visible to everyone walking and driving by. The presence of the large windows also makes the shop feel bright and airy.
For Ivy Studio, it was crucial to give the place a new image and make it nearly unrecognisable. The colour palette received a complete makeover, as the previously white walls and contrasting black floor and ceilings were replaced with natural oak wood and light cream paint.
The tones create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, yet the dark teal marmorino plaster adds a hint of contrast to the space.
The benches and service counter are the handwriting of artisan plasterer Joey Di Venosa, who created one-of-a-kind products for the barbershop. The custom-made micro-cement material has a durable finish and a slick cream colour.
CRISP The Village holds a unique identity in contrast to its predecessors while retaining the image of a forward-thinking space that the clients and local community love so dearly.
