We want to tell you all about the Fonda Bondi Restaurant in Sydney. With a bright, fun and youthful aesthetic by Studio Esteta, Fonda’s Restaurant evokes the essence of dining at a traditional Mexican home.

The interior glows undress off any pertinaciousness and invites its customers to feel at home, living up to the restaurant motto: “ Mi casa, su casa”.
To attain this feeling Studio Esteta used traditional and trendy materials in a raw, honest and, humble form. Including textured walls, encaustic tiles, rattan chairs, woven screens, and wooden benches.

The interior design references Mexican Architecture, particularly the work of the iconic architect Luis Barragán, with the curves and arcs that shape the restaurant and the bold & strong native colours as terracotta. The light yet impactful hues of blue were inspired by the coastal surrounding of Fonda Bondi.
