This year's Maison & Objet exhibition in Paris with a record-breaking 30% of new brands and a significant influx of international brands was a captivating experience. We had the opportunity, as press partners, to explore various halls filled with innovative brands and establish meaningful connections.
We are excited to share some of our top picks – favourite brands and products that left a lasting impression on us during this year's exhibition. From groundbreaking designs to remarkable concepts, Maison & Objet 2023 was truly a wonderful experience.
Smart Gift - Hall 2
In Hall 2, Smart Gifts shifted the focus from traditional presents to unique, exquisitely designed gifts. This destination offered a blend of tactile charm, innovative technology, and enchanting customised items that brought inspiration to everyday life.
Cook & Share - Hall 3
We enjoyed a wonderful time in a busy kitchen scene. We explored a lively world, connecting with culinary experts, learning about cooking essentials, gourmet gifts, and traditional tableware. The mix of traditional tableware makers and entertainment innovators added style to our experience.
Fashion Accessories - Hall 4
Fashion accessories had become a part of the range of decorative objects. Bags, jewellery, scarves, and clothes perfectly marked each season or mood, serving as talismans we all enjoyed.
Kids & Family - Hall 4
Hall 4 showcased a unique take on kids' bedrooms in modern homes, with each room boasting its distinct decor. Utilising furniture, decor, textiles, toys, and accessories, this approach brought joy to both us and parents alike.
Pattern Lab - Hall 4
We had a blast delving into the world of textile and surface designers, uncovering their unique, bold, and innovative concepts. They added a new dimension to our décor and interior design projects.
Home Accessories - Hall 5
Here, you could find a diverse range of items to personalise your interior, including lights, small furniture, cushions, and decorative objects. With over 290 brands, this sector offered countless options for customization.
Home Linen - Hall 5
We cherished household linen as a vital decoration ally. Home Linen displayed its full range of talents, expressing comfort through bath linens, table linens' character, the sensuality of bed linens, and cosy homeware, establishing irreplaceable delicate atmospheres with textiles.
Well-being & Beauty - Hall 5
We were very excited about this sector. In it, we found brands that showcased a wide range of products, accessories, and solutions designed to enhance peacefulness. People could unwind, take care of themselves, and make their homes blissful bubbles of well-being... from comfort to happiness!
Craft - métiers d’art - Hall 5
We explored various craft areas - tableware, jewellery, fashion, lighting, furniture, and more. Artisans crafted distinct pieces using innovative techniques, reflecting values of conscious consumption and departure from mass production.
Future On Stage - Hall 5
Maison&Objet's "Future On Stage" showcases three standout companies in decor, design, and lifestyle. We were particularly impressed by Repulp, an innovative young company that creatively utilizes waste to craft sustainable products.
Trend Space - Peclers Paris - Hall 5
Peclers Paris, the designers behind Maison&Objet 2023, transformed an open canvas into a mesmerizing three-dimensional sensory experience. Their work was nothing short of spectacular, leaving us thoroughly enchanted.
Home Fragrances - Hall 5 & 6
In this sector, we found brands that create scents for indoor spaces, similar to how they design the look of a space. Home Fragrances include a wide range of scented products, from bath items to different aromatic scents.
Today - Hall 6
In the Today sector, we experienced a vibrant showcase of modern living art. Established and emerging design editors skillfully combined uniqueness and innovation in furniture and decor tailored for urban lifestyles, capturing the bold spirit of the era.
Forever - Hall 6
In the Forever section, Decoration concepts create a lasting ambiance. Unique identities shape captivating displays, infusing character into interiors regularly. Manufacturers/publishers showcase finely crafted products, spanning the decorative spectrum and infusing the space with soul.
Projects - Hall 7
In the Projects sector, innovative custom design solutions were provided for hospitality, service, and residential interiors. These solutions encompassed materials, lighting, bathroom fixtures, and more. Dedicated conferences and meetings also fostered expertise sharing.
Signature. Hall 7
In the Signature sector, there were iconic designs characterised by their beauty, sophistication, and use of raw materials. The pieces were often unique or made-to-measure, reflecting a blend of luxury, audacity, and elegance in both furniture and decorative furnishings.
Unique & Eclectic - Hall 8
In the Unique & Eclectic sector, diverse brands showcased refined offerings that blended global cultures. Through sophisticated furniture and decor, they highlighted objects bridging art, design, and craftsmanship.
