On April 20th, Wolf&Rita is launching a special collection that marks the brand’s 10 year anniversary, where the brand focuses on their commitment to sustainability, good practices and local production.

Their new SS23 collection is a time capsule to all of their past collections as well as being made in honour of working with Portuguese artist, José de Guimarães and their new kids shoe collection with Portuguese Shoe brand Sanjo. Are you as excited as we are about this collection?

José de Guimarães is a Portuguese artist, born in 1939. His passion for different cultures had him travelling the world and collecting artefacts and artistic objects from different places such as Angola, China or Mexico.

An “artist-collector”, José de Guimarães has been inspired by these objects and cultures, continually reinterpreting and rethinking them in his work.

For this Spring-Summer collection, Wolf&Rita was fortunate to be able to work with José de Guimarães’ estate and also to photograph at the amazing contemporary art center CIAJG, located in Guimarães, which holds the artist’s name and private collection.

In Rêveries de l’Artiste, Wolf&Rita honours José de Guimarães’ creative use of colours and bold graphics, even if it is just a small peek into the wonderful and unique universe of his oeuvre.

In collaboration with the museum and its team, Wolf&Rita designed a small collection of exclusive items to be sold only at wolfandrita.com and at the museum's shop.

The brand also designed a new kids shoes collection that is designed and produced in collaboration with Sanjo, an iconic Portuguese shoes’ brand celebrating 90 years of history.

Sanjo will be launching their new kid's collection this season and the brands have partnered to design three different shoes that are part of Wolf&Rita’s SS23 collection.
