By Lemoignan Architects have pulled off something truly remarkable in their latest project, seamlessly bringing together a wide range of services under one roof. It seems like stepping into a world where boundaries dissolve and holistic wellness takes centre stage.

Located in the booming Hochelaga Maisonneuve district of Montreal, Club Hippocrates is a multidisciplinary health centre offering a full range of care services, including hot yoga and a restaurant-café space.

Focused on a fluid experience between the different services, the common areas are arranged at the front along a series of windows starting with the central reception lobby. On one side there is the restaurant-café and on the other the reception of the centre followed by the yoga room and ten diverse treatment rooms.

The design of the project is based on a juxtaposition of organic materials and simple volumes thus creating a balance.

The preserved original brick walls add character while the wall plaster smoothes with the reflections of the wraparound lighting.

The palette of built-in furniture in walnut, olive porcelain, marble and terracotta velvet contrasts yet complements the slate floor and understated wall finishes.

The integration of tailor-made lighting devices makes it possible to create ambiances depending on the time of day.

By Lemoignan Architects have not only created a space, but a vibrant community hub where individuals come together to nurture their well-being, connect with others, and embark on a journey of holistic health.

Club Hippocrates stands as a tribute to the power of design to inspire wellness and foster community in every aspect of life.
