Prime Seafood Palace
A minimal Seafood restaurant
—
Hello design junkies,
Are you obsessed with seafood? We definitely are, and we have discovered a place that transmits a sensory experience like the one of a good seafood dish.
Today we take you on a tour of Chef Matty Matheson's cuisine through a virtual journey in his Toronto restaurant designed by Omar Gandhi.
To create a relaxing and elegant atmosphere, the design of Prime Seafood Palace is centered on a minimalist, Scandinavian style and a maritime touch.
The environment is airy, as there are few tables and a lot of space is left between them, making the customers' experience more pleasant and intimate.
The use of a neutral color palette gives the restaurant a timeless appeal, by not focusing on specific current trends.
The kitchen is composed of natural materials. Thin wooden panels, which recall a sauna, surround the tables, while a double-height accessible restroom is decorated with textured Bianco Carrara bamboo tile.
A welcoming and elegant atmosphere is created through the predominant use of a light wood. Special attention is given to the use of lights, whose intensity varies according to the time of day.
