Modern and modular, Kint was born out of the desire to refresh the product design space in Ukraine. Made up of a team of young designers they describe themselves as 'embodying the ethos of the new generation of Ukrainian artists.’
Soft corners and plush edges, Kint found themselves displayed at the milestone anniversary exhibition of interior design and decorative objects, Maison & Objet in Paris, renowned as one of Europe's most influential events.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this past edition embraced a theme centred around the fusion of futuristic technologies with the natural world, reflected through innovative forms and a variety of fresh colour palettes.
Kint fitted perfectly with their nod to soft shapes found it nature, coupled with their bright and eclectic colour-ways.
Their best selling puffa system is an innovative collection that seamlessly integrates a diverse range of upholstered furniture, including sofas, armchairs, poufs, and benches.
With 16 distinct modules of varying sizes, this dynamic system offers max adaptability. Easily adjustable, the number of segments can be tailored to individual preferences, ensuring a perfect fit for any residential or commercial space.
The designer Rostyslav Sorokovyi, describes his approach as; "I prefer clean and aesthetic design, focusing on simplification and spontaneity. My work's main principles are simplicity, utility, and emotionality, which I aim to convey through design".
The puffa system is an excellent demonstration of just that, fresh, current and chic.
