Minimalism and simplicity are Zone Denmark’s watchwords. They want to take part of your everyday life by providing modern design and a big range of kitchen and bathroom products to keep your home design down to the smallest item.
There are multiple talented designers behind Zone Denmark’s products. Today, we will focus on VE2 designer trio, creators of two award-winning collections for the danish brand.
Who is behind VE2 design trio ?
VE2 is a designer trio which has been founded in 2007. The trio is composed of Tilde Nygaard, Hugo Dines Schmidt and Morten Lauritzen. The three of them are specialised in industrial design. VE2 created two award-winning collections for Zone Denmark ; UME and Peili collections.

Let’s present you some of their awesome work.
UME
« Ume is a soft, gentle and pleasant acquaintance. Ume is the Japanese word for plum tree and a symbol of elegance, patience and strength. »
UME is a collection consisting of minimalist and modern bathroom products such as a soap dispenser, a pedal bin or even a toilet brush. It was thought to be both practical and design at the same time.
Peili
« With its aesthetic and modern style, Peili is well on the way to becoming a new design classic – created by VE2 with a minimalistic expression rooted in proud Danish design traditions. »
Peili is a modern, original and really useful range of kitchen products. Indeed, the particularity of this collection is the fact that the plates have been thought to fit perfectly the top of the bowls. Therefore, you can not only eat but also storage food. Bonus, you can also use the plates as trays!

Plus, you’re now able to take your Peili products everywhere you go thanks to a 4 corner rubber band. All you need to do is cover your bowl with a plate and place the rubber band around it.
