Unique patterns for you

Or your interior

Mapoésie is a French brand created in 2010 by Elsa Poux inspired by ethnical cultures and handcrafted “savoir-faire”.

“This is an abstract Amazonian rain forest. An impenetrable forest of signs where patterns and colors call out, bang together, brush against each other and collide, but always end up flying away in a soft cotton, wool or silk.”

The first time I saw Mapoésie was on Instagram. My eye was caught by strong colors with unique prints. I directly went to the website and was nicely surprised by the collection.
I spend hours everyday looking at new brands, new designs…so when I find one like Mapoésie, it makes my day.

Elsa Poux finds her inspiration in travels, in artists like Sonia Delaunay or Sol LeWitt as well as in the Bauhaus movement.

She defines the spirit of Mapoésie by its “link between hand-crafted and contemporary, through a personal graphic design”.

Elsa Poux likes to work on big sizes, which is why she started off with carpets and now makes scarves and floor cushions.

Depending on the season, the scarves are made of cotton, silk or wool. Every season, a new collection is created.

Good news for parisian people or for those who plan to go to the french capital. Indeed, Mapoésie opened a shop in Paris where you can find scarves, tote bags, beach towels and way more!
