Once in a while, we do enjoy a good fancy night out. A night where you reserve a nice table, you put on your best outfit and you spend your night eating gourmet dishes with elegant drinks.

We want to make your fancy night as easy and special as possible, that is why we choose some of the best places in Lisbon to fine dine.

Alma, Chiado

Housed in an 18th-century warehouse, Alma has created a high-end restaurant with avant-garde local meat & seafood dishes.

  • Dining room features an open kitchen granting guests a view of the chef in action;

  • Two Michelin stars

  • Delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine such as the “costa a costa” which is comprised of five courses inspired by the local coast;

  • With a love for Asian cuisine, there are sublime dishes in that direction too.

Ofício, Bairro Alto

Ofício is a place that carries the same charm as an old Portuguese Tasca that has yet to be discovered. The restaurant has a strong focus on Portuguese food with a twist, a tasca atípica so to speak.

  • The food is a departure from the typical Tasca;

  • In the interior, you will find a six-seat counter, inside a five-room hotel, with sandpaper walls, large arches in the middle of the room connecting to the ceiling, astel blue chairs, dark red wall couches to contrast, and stone tables;

  • It’s not a Michelin restaurant but we don’t know where Michelin is because these are not any ordinary dishes you can eat somewhere else, it’s an incredible tasting experience.

Eneko Lisboa, Alcântara

“To cook a better future” is the mantra of Eneko. The gastronomy is all about the passion for the Spanish cultural roots, and connecting with the surrounding land and its properties.

  • Unique flavours of Basque cuisine with traditional and innovative touches;

  • Intimate atmosphere;

  • Most outstanding dish is the roasted lobster with coffee sauce and butter. Now doesn’t that sound unique?

Da Noi, Santos

Looking for a more alive and active fine dine, then Da Noi is the place. What is known as the trendy neighbourhood restaurant is a combination of quality dishes with a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Located in Madragoa, an idyllic corner surrounded by traditional tile façade;

  • Unique and trendy meals such as the entrecôte with homemade fries, or their pork belly dish;

  • Outside and indoor seating;

PRADO, Chiado

Set against the backdrop of Lisbon's iconic cathedral, The PRADO restaurant was opened in 2017 by António Galapito, intending to bring farm-to-table dishes.

  • The menu is diverse and allows us to try dishes such as "peixe galo, lobster emulsion, and sado rice";

  • They have a variety of Portuguese wines;

  • Built inside an old factory, the restaurant has a neutral aesthetic wrapped in a harmony of plants;

  • The wood-fired barbecue will instantly immerse you in the charm of the Portuguese countryside and enchant you to try some barbecued dishes.

Boubou's, Principe Real

Enjoy a relaxed and elegant atmosphere to explore delicious international cousin made form local and seasonal ingredients. Although Boubou’s is a fine dine restaurant, the prices are affordable for their creative and tasty menu.

  • International cousin with affordable prices (Cauliflower steak for 12 Euros, Oyster appetisers for 4 euros, 9 course meal for 49 Euros, made for an extraordinary tasting experience);

LOCO, Estrela

Inspired by the tradition and identity references of the Portuguese gastronomy, LOCO is defying the rule, researching and experimenting with procedures to create dishes that are elegant & exotic.

  • LOCO has one Michelin star;

  • Work with micro station products, making a meal last 17 dishes;

  • The kitchen is the heart of chef Alexandre Silva and his team, taking up more space than the dining room to represent the cooks philosophy;

  • Fancy serves LOCO from the interior to the dish delivery.

VDB Bistronomie, Campo das Cebolas

Clément Van Den Bergh focus on quality by following their farm-to-table philosophy, where local communities are supported and you will always know what you are eating.

  • Embrace a sustainable approach to agriculture and deliver a premium dining experience;

  • Respect the seasonality of the ingredients, therefore, offering quality cuisine with weekly changing menus;

  • Alana Mostachio won best female chef; who loves sourcing her ideas back in the Brazilian roots;

Belcanto, Chiado

Belcanto is not only known as the 46th best restaurant worldwide from the World’s top 50 restaurants list but it is also run by executive chef José Avillez. Known for one of the great references of Portuguese cousin.

  • 2 Michelin stars;

  • Sophisticated atmosphere taken from the romanticism of old Chiado to the future;

  • Extraordinary wine cellar displayed with over 300 Portuguese wines, as well as great international references

O Talho, São Sebastião

Polished restaurant specialising in grilled steak and seafood dishes, plus heaping burgers that you can’t resist.

  • Intimate environment offering an experience with many salvishing flavours of meat;

  • Chef Kiko first restaurant where he investigates, transforms, and risks different ways of cooking meat;
