Bowie Supperclub: A Hidden World Beneath Old Montreal

Where immersive design, vintage glamour, and

sonic seduction redefine the modern nightlife experience

Tucked beneath the historic streets of Old Montreal, Bowie Supperclub is a 3,000-square-foot subterranean venue that blends spectacle, intimacy and unapologetic style.

Opened in late 2024, this secretive supperclub channels the energy of 1980s London and New York speakeasies through a contemporary design lens, offering an immersive, mood-drenched experience that reimagines nightlife in Montreal.

A Subterranean Supperclub in Old Montreal

The entrance to Bowie begins through a tapestry-draped vestibule, where a sculptural hostess counter immediately sets the tone for what's to come. Without any natural light, the design flips its underground location into an advantage. The mood is intimate, cinematic, and charged with the mystery of an exclusive members’ club.

A long, central corridor connects the entrance to mirrored restrooms and a plush lounge anchored by a tiger-print pouf. The space unfolds like a theatrical set, part salon, part sensory dreamscape.

Design, Lighting and Sound in Perfect Harmony

At the centre of the space, the red marble bar glows beneath a chrome light fixture that refracts the room’s energy into shimmering layers. Chrome sconces and indirect LED lighting play with shadows and reflections, multiplying the glow across velvet, marble and mirror.

Oversized red speakers give a bold nod to the club's namesake, echoing David Bowie's sonic legacy and avant-garde glamour. Music is central here, not background noise.

Privacy, Performance, and Culinary Precision

With a strict no-photos policy, Bowie invites guests into a space where mystery and exclusivity are part of the allure. The Asian-inspired small plates menu balances indulgence with elegance, perfectly suited for late-night sharing.

Whether you’re sinking into a velvet booth or swaying beside the DJ, every corner of Bowie feels like a choreographed moment, a hidden world where nightlife, design, and culture collide.

Planning a night out in Old Montreal? Don’t miss the chance to discover Bowie, one of the most talked-about supperclubs in Quebec and a must-visit for lovers of design, music and immersive nightlife.
