Limousine: Laurent Dagenais’s First Restaurant Brings Retro Glamour to Saint-Lambert

French bistro elegance meets cinematic design

South of Montreal - Canada

In the heart of Saint-Lambert, Québec, acclaimed chef Laurent Dagenais has opened his first restaurant — Limousine — an intimate fine dining destination blending French bistro cuisine with vintage luxury and cinematic design.

Designed by Ivy Studio, the 1,700-square-foot space reimagines a former café with a bold diamond-shaped layout anchored by a glowing amber bar at its centre. The interior draws inspiration from classic luxury limousines, layering warm cream tones, glossy black finishes, chrome detailing, and tan leather banquettes to create a setting that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.

The atmosphere is immersive: a sculptural lightbox above the bar bathes the room in golden light, while vintage furniture reupholstered in velvet and natural stone accents evoke timeless refinement. Around the bar, the buzz of service meets the quiet rhythm of fine dining — a reflection of Dagenais’s precise yet unpretentious approach to French gastronomy.

With Limousine, Saint-Lambert gains more than a restaurant — it gains an experience. A cinematic space where flavor, form, and nostalgia merge under one glowing light.
