Next Memory Lisbon: A Design Led Fragrance Brand to Discover

A Lisbon fragrance brand where heritage, scent and design

create immersive experiences

In the historic centre of Lisbon, Next Memory is rooted in a space rich with memory. The store occupies a former pharmacy, whose legacy subtly informs the project’s identity. Carefully restored, the space preserves traces of its past while introducing a contemporary design language, creating a dialogue between heritage and modernity.

Design led fragrance store in Lisbon with curated objects and calm architecture

Founded by Gonçalo Prego and Diogo Amaro, Next Memory was conceived as a creative platform for scent and design, exploring how fragrance can capture moments, spaces and emotions.

A collection of perfumes, home fragrances and ritual-based products

At the heart of the brand is a curated universe of perfumes, home fragrances and other products, conceived as extensions of memory and atmosphere. The collection spans eau de parfums, candles, diffusers, room sprays, teas and bath and body products, each designed to bring a sensory dimension to everyday rituals.

Among the latest creations, Engram Eau de Parfum by Joana Nobre stands out as a refined expression of the brand’s philosophy. Inspired by the idea of memory traces, the scent unfolds through layered notes and subtle contrasts, offering a composition that evolves over time — a signature example of contemporary perfume design.

A Store Designed as an Experience

At the heart of the experience is the Bespoke Garden, where visitors can create their own fragrance through a guided, sensory process. Working with a palette of 37 exquisite accords, guests are invited to compose a scent by blending different families — from fresh and citrus to woody, floral or more resinous notes — shaping a fragrance that reflects their personal memory.

The experience continues with the possibility to personalise the bottle itself. Visitors can choose from twelve elegant labels, where a name, date or even a secret word can be added, transforming the perfume into a keepsake of self expression.

This interactive ritual turns the space into more than a store — a sensory environment where design, scent and storytelling converge.
