Eleventy Opens Its First Flagship Store in Lisbon’s Iconic Diário de Notícias Building

culture, and contemporary elegance

Eleventy has opened its first flagship store in Lisbon, inside the Diário de Notícias building at 266 Avenida da Liberdade — a landmark of Portuguese modernist architecture designed by Pardal Monteiro and winner of the Valmor Prize (1940).
Spanning 260 square meters, the space unfolds across two areas — a boutique and coffee bar — designed as a continuous experience that bridges fashion, art, and gastronomy. Three preserved Almada Negreiros frescos from 1939 anchor the interior, integrated by Parisotto + Formenton Architetti, the studio behind Eleventy’s international boutiques.
A Cultural Landmark with a Contemporary Spirit
Warm travertine, light oak, and subtle modern detailing create a dialogue between past and present, echoing Eleventy’s “smart luxury” philosophy: elegant, understated, and deeply human. Beyond retail, the store features a coffee bar with a menu by chef Andrea Berton, conceived as an open and welcoming space for the city.
“Lisbon’s authenticity, sophistication, and creative energy align perfectly with the spirit of the brand,” say Lurdes Cabral and Luca Nani, founders of Eleventy Lisbon. “This city reflects our shared passion for fashion, art, and timeless style.”
A New Destination for Lisbon
The Eleventy Lisbon flagship is more than a store — it’s an immersive showcase of design, craftsmanship, and culture. From the preserved frescos to the warm, architectural palette, every element reflects Lisbon’s evolving creative identity.
Blending heritage, hospitality, and contemporary elegance, the space stands as one of Avenida da Liberdade’s most refined new destinations.
