A building that creates the illusion of a dream. Well, hello pastel fairy-tale! This extraordinary, shockingly cool family residence was built in the Sonoran desert of Mexico. Combining the imagination of the incredibly talented architects duo Davit Jilavyan and Mary Jilavyan, resulted in a magical pastel mirage.
Different shapes and dimensions, based on the minimal style of Mexican architecture, and yet so out-of-the-box. Honestly, we’ve never seen anything like this! A pink miracle with pitched roofs, boldly blocked hues and irregular windows and not to forget, the yellow touch of the Mexican sun… I guess we could easily just call it the Design Hunger house, that’s how much we adore it.!
To keep the Mexican vibe going, the house outdoors surroundings are filled with big cactus and desert vegetation. We love it! And when the sun goes down, the house lights up the whole desert. With its pink and yellow tones no one could drive past this one without turning around to take a second look.
