Studio Bom’s First Interior Design Project: A Whimsical French Pâtisserie in the Heart of Lisbon
From Furniture to Spaces:
Studio Bom’s Newest Project
—
Studio Bom, the Lisbon-based design duo known for their versatile indoor-outdoor furniture, unveils their very first interior design project: a vibrant French pâtisserie (BomBom Pâtisserie) nestled in the centre of Lisbon. Spanning 150 square metres of natural light and architectural potential, the space has been completely reimagined by Emeline and Geoffrey with a brief that offered complete creative freedom.
Tasked with designing an environment that reflects the pâtisserie’s identity, Studio Bom crafted a bold yet harmonious interior - colourful, welcoming, and thoughtfully structured. This flagship project allowed the studio to express its full creative vision, establishing a cohesive, balanced and visually striking universe.
The bespoke interior includes original, hand-crafted furniture: a mid-height communal table, two custom benches, a striking display counter that doubles as an épicerie, and a high-standing service table. With geometric lines and minimalist volumes, the pieces are both functional and sculptural - hallmarks of Studio Bom’s aesthetic.
Since launching in 2023, Studio Bom has gained recognition for its playful, purpose-driven designs. This pâtisserie marks a new chapter, showcasing the studio’s ability to scale their vision from furniture to fully realised spatial concepts, right in the heart of Lisbon’s creative culinary scene.
