ZeroZero Belém: Where Wood-Fired Pizzas Meet

River Views and Architectural Soul

Lisbon’s beloved pizzeria has found a new home, and it just might be its most unforgettable yet. After ten flavour-filled years in the city, ZeroZero has taken over the Espelho d’Água building in Belém, bringing with it everything we love: wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and now, an irresistible view over the Tagus.

The location? Iconic. Originally built for the Portuguese World Exhibition of 1940, this riverside modernist structure—once home to nightclubs, seafood joints, and a legendary time—is now reimagined with new life.

And the new space? 500 seats across a warm interior and sun-drenched terrace, but still utterly cosy. Imagine sleek lighting, natural textures, a buzz of conversation, and a famous first-floor bathroom with river views (yes, you read that right).

But you’re not just coming here for the view. ZeroZero Belém is open daily from 12 to midnight, meaning you can come for lunch, an afternoon cake and espresso, a sunset cocktail, or a full-on dinner.

The menu is fresh, seasonal, and distinctly Italian, with pizzas cooked the proper way—in a traditional wood-fired oven. Add to that the house-made pasta, artisan gelato, and a line-up of DOP-certified Italian ingredients, and you’re in for a feast that’s as comforting as it is elevated.

And you can even take Italy home with you. The restaurant includes a curated retail corner where you’ll find fresh pasta, proper Parmigiano, olive oil, artichokes, Italian charcuterie, and more.

From Príncipe Real to Parque das Nações, and now Belém, ZeroZero has evolved, but its essence remains: a passion for real ingredients, relaxed hospitality, and the joy of sharing good food in beautiful spaces.
