If you don’t know The Animals Observatory yet, then it’s about time you do! Today we bring you an article dedicated to their latest collection, which has won our hearts. This brand is the result of a love at first sight scenario between two people, Laia Aguilar and Jan Andreu.
The Animals Observatory project represents the realization of one of Andreu’s dreams as an entrepreneur, and particularly as a parent. Laia Aguilar was the perfect choice of partner to make that dream a reality. She sees children’s fashion as an artistic tool through which she can express her own extraordinary world - and we can see that perfectly in each piece of this collection!
The Animals Observatory Fall/Winter 2020 collection is a love story with pop iconography, from David Hockney to Jarvis Cocker, with a touch of Bruno Munari´s geometrical aesthetic. Bold outlines and colors clashing in the best way result in a combination of structured, oversized silhouettes that are comfortable, statement making, and as always, wearable.
The brand builds on their staple fabrics and textures with the addition of glitter and unique striped and plaid patterns. Never forsaking practicality, The Animals Observatory’s selection of fabrics from cotton percale to their water repellent ¨life jacket¨ vests make this a versatile selection to suit any weather.
