Meet Umage, the Danish brand that is giving a whole new meaning to the concept of smart design. Their designs are all Flat-packed in stylish boxes, to optimise global logistics, reduce storage and transportation costs, and to make the designs more accessible and affordable for everyone. It’s a mix of furniture and lighting, inspired by the Nordic nature. This beautiful Danish design meets the Scandinavian feel, high-quality materials and a genuine care for the environment. Big designs do come in small boxes and Umage is the living proof!
The brand’s lighting and furniture are created with a focus on aesthetics, simplicity and functionality. Furthermore the packaging methods are incredibly inspiring and innovative. Most of the furniture and lamps are packed in compact gift boxes that can be reused as storage boxes. Thus optimizing worldwide logistics and storage costs and thereby reducing the environmental footprint on our planet.

Besides the environmental efforts, we absolutely adore Umage’s creative designs, all of which relate to urban settings. Influenced by the design language, colors and materials found around Scandinavia, Umage was able to develop a collection that is rooted in their homeland but relatable and suitable to anyone and any style.
Our selection of Umage’s favorite pieces features their amazing furniture, of course, but also decorative items such as the Clava Dine Wood, available in both dark and light Scandinavian oak wood, and the Butterflies. After all, it’s (almost) all about the details. The combination of unique shapes and the use of natural materials result into original and interesting designs.
Another amazing aspect of Umage’s creations is how well each piece harmonizes with another! Created by different designers, the lamps, desks, cabinets, and other products make a perfect match! Take this gorgeous interior featuring the mini, light brown Eos lampshade; the white Tripod table light stand; the mini, white Conia lampshade; and the white Tripod floor light stand. We love how the soft pastel and light shades combine with natural materials such as wood.
Another combination that caught our attention was this one featuring the Reader wing chair, the Audacious cabinet and the Compose candleholder set to wrap up the decoration. The choice of more sober shades create a chilling environment - we can easily see ourselves sipping a glass of wine and reading a good book while comfortably seating on the Reader wing chair!
