HOP hub interior: A Postmodern Revival

Breathing New Life into a

90s Office Building

Loskiewicz.Studio has boldly reimagined a 1990s postmodern office building in Warsaw with their latest project, HOP hub. Far from being an ordinary renovation, HOP is a striking statement piece, revitalising a style often overlooked in architectural history.

The transformation begins at the ground floor, now a vibrant co-working space with meeting rooms, lounges, and a dramatic performance staircase. Playful custom textiles, upholsteries, and acoustic panels bring energy to the interiors, while modern conveniences such as bike parking and EV charging stations cater to today’s workforce.

In addition to these functional upgrades, HOP celebrates the building’s postmodern aesthetic, employing replicated textures and patterns to craft a rich, humanising environment. This approach defies the dominance of minimalist design, offering a more expressive and playful alternative.

With sustainability at the heart of this project, Loskiewicz.Studio has honoured the building’s original character while adapting it for contemporary needs by reusing and reinterpreting existing elements.

HOP challenges the trend of relentless urban renewal by advocating for the preservation of architectural history. It’s a testament to the transformative power of bold design, turning a forgotten structure into a vibrant and inspiring space.
