ModaLisboa 2025 | Lisbon Fashion Week returned in October with its 65th edition, MODALISBOA BASE, transforming Lisbon into a living stage for Portuguese author fashion. More than a fashion week, it was a creative movement — merging design, culture, and sustainability into one collective statement.
Set across iconic Lisbon landmarks including Pátio da Galé, MUDE - Museo do Design and Sala do Risco, this edition brought the city and its people closer to fashion.
Platforms like BASE, Sangue Novo, FAST TALKS, and ModaLisboa na Avenida blurred the lines between runway and real life — where dialogue, experimentation, and inclusivity took centre stage.

A Glimpse Behind the Scenes
This season, ModaLisboa reaffirmed its role as a platform of ideas, rather than just a showcase. It celebrated independent Portuguese fashion as a force for cultural change— rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, and Lisbon’s unmistakable energy.
Among our favourite standout moments? The Gandaia immersive fashion and installation show — an expressive fusion of art and performance that perfectly encapsulated the week’s experimental spirit. Over at Castle HI HI HI, Constança Entrudo unveileved a capsule collection in collaboration with Paraíso and Humana, previously pre-launched at Lux Frágil and off-site from the Pátio da Galé, Nuno Baltazar transformed MUDE’s sunlit terrace into a scene of cinematic elegance, presenting sequinned dresses and refined tailored silhouettes.
The 2025 edition of ModaLisboa marked a moment of confident evolution and maturity for Portuguese fashion. More than a biannual showcase, it has become a platform of ideas, a cultural movement, and a stage for the future of design.
Looking ahead, the spring 2026 edition promises to push these boundaries even further, with global watchers and culture seekers already anticipating the next wave of Portuguese creativity.
