Lisbon is pure heaven for all lovers of Italian cuisine. As we belong to this group as well, we’ve been to various different Italian restaurants around Lisbon, and below you can find a list of our favourites.
Memoria, Campo de Ourique
A place we have come to love not only because it’s around the corner from our office but also because their food is always tempting.
All of their food is freshly made, from their self-made pasta, to the vegetables that they grow in their own garden (to make sure all products are fresh);
Must-tries are their burrata, spaghetti with truffles, as well as their wood-fired pizzas;
Bonus point: their interior & terrasse are beautiful.

Leonetta, Bairro Alto
We discovered Leonetta on a night out and had to come back to check it out. We are very happy we did, this place is a gem.
Dining here is an immersive experience, the interior, the food, the cocktails, the staff, everything is incredible and memorable;
But we have to say, starting your meal with their cheese plate and negroni and following up with their creamy sweet potato gnocchis, is one of the best ways to go;
For those who have to end their meal on a sweet note, we recommend you their chocolate tiramisú!

Vesuviano, Santos
Did you know that Ravioli Bars were a thing? Well, us neither… But they definitely are a thing and Vesuviano is IT!
Ravioli lovers, when you are craving raviolis in Lisbon, and don’t know where to go, head to Vesuviano. It is 100% the right place for you;
Salmon ravioli, carbonara ravioli, mushrooms & truffle ravioli, ragu ravioli, the list never ends… No matter your taste preferences, you will find something delicious.

La Trattoria, Marques de Pombal

Their Gran Carbonara will make you feel like you are in a little restaurant in the beautiful city of Rome;
An if gluten is not your friend, worry not, La Trattoria has thought of you, a big part of their menu has gluten free options;
Their drinks selection is impressive, and let us tell you that, their La Trattoria and Mojicello cocktails are very very flavourful…

Libertà Kitchen, Marques de Pombal
Authenthic and unconventional Italian restaurant, is exactly what Libertà is.

Lupita Pizzaria, Cais do Sodré
ALERT! There is another pizza heaven in town that you definitely need to check out… Lupita Pizzaria.
Their naturally leavened pizzas are real gifts to your taste buds (we are salivating over you mushroom pizza);

Rocco, Chiado
To end this guide, is none other than Rocco, the most elegant and sophisticated Italian restaurant we have been to in Lisbon! But beware, you will need to make a reservation in advance to be able to eat there.
Everything they serve is delicious beyond belief, but our favourites are definitely their Lobster Linguine, Bucatini allo Scarpariello and Torta di Cioccolato (dessert);
Their drinks selection is very impressive, so whether you are eating fish, meat, pasta or not eating at all and just enjoying an after-work drink, you will for sure find your match!
