ModaLisboa Priority 2026

Days of Fashion and Creativity in Lisbon

—

From 8 to 11 October 2026, ModaLisboa returned with its 67th edition, MODALISBOA PRIORITY, presenting Spring/Summer 2027 collections alongside exhibitions, performances and creative events across Lisbon.

We attended the shows of Francisca Nabinho, Ariana Orrico, Mestre Studio, ARNDES, Gonçalo Peixoto and Nuno Baltazar, getting a closer look at the creativity shaping Portuguese fashion. Here's our recap.

Fashion, Creativity and New Perspectives

This season's runways explored everything from craftsmanship and nostalgia to optical illusions and futuristic expression.

Francisca Nabinho played with perception through trompe-l'œil details and pointillism-inspired designs, while BÉHEN, celebrated Portuguese heritage with a collection inspired by the traditions of Nazaré. Gonçalo Peixoto revisited family memories and 1980s and 1990s fashion, bringing nostalgic references into contemporary silhouettes.

Mestre Studio presented a personal collection inspired by childhood memories and his grandmother’s wardrobe, combining nostalgic references with playful colours, while Nuno Baltazar explored theatrical contrasts of light, shadow and transparency.

Luís Carvalho brought colour, floral motifs and playful volumes to the runway. While Dino Alves closed the edition with dramatic proportions and transparency. Among all of these, many other designers presented collections that shaped four days of Portuguese fashion.

Beyond the Runway

Beyond the collections, ModaLisboa Priority brought fashion into dialogue with art, photography and design through exhibitions at MUDE and other locations.

Public events, private presentations, workshops, installations and parties also took place across Lisbon, turning the city into a meeting point for fashion and creativity.

This edition celebrated the diversity of Portuguese design, from traditional craftsmanship to contemporary experimentation.
