Hi, design lovers!

We couldn't hold our excitement for today's article. To open the article with the big news: we were invited to be a Press Partner of the Playtime fair in Paris. Playtime is one of the biggest fashion and lifestyle fairs in the children's industry, presenting the most inspiring and creative brands in the market. The fair only has 22 Press Partners and we had the huge pleasure to be one of them!

This year’s theme was WELCOME TO WONDERLAND! Playtime Paris showcases 250 brands, 7,000 shoppers in a friendly and fun environment (Parc Floral, Paris). Where everyone is eager to see the novelties that the latest collections bring and the new brands.

The fair happened from the 29th of January until de 31st of January 2022. As a Press Partner, we had the pleasure of travelling to Paris, visiting the fair, and now, telling you all about the most exciting new collections (AW22) and our ‘coup de coeurs’ meaning our crushes <3

It was an intense weekend with so many exciting brands to visit. We chose a combination of our long-time favourites with new brands that we fell in love with!

After seeing 420 brands, we have divided them into categories: Kids Wear, Kids Shoes, Kids Accessories, Kids Decor and Kids Care! We show you some sneak peeks of the AW'22 collections but also the current available collections - SS'22 !

Let’s start the Kids Wear category with our two favourite styles on the market: Minimal & Timeless and Fun & Playful. Check out our favourites!

Kids Wear - Minimal & Timeless

Minimalisma

Minimalisma is inspired by founder Maja Akraberg's childhood. She grew up on a remote archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean. An untouched childhood connected to nature, handmade knitwear and a humble life. Minimalisma brings this uncomplicated lifestyle to its essence, designing timeless clothes made to pass down through generations.

Their fabrics are ultra-soft and, we loved seeing their new colours!

Co Label

Co Label is a Danish brand, classic yet conscious, created from the need to offer children comfortable and luxurious fashion solutions. Made with premium Italian fabrics, it takes your child through a sensory textural experience. We saw their collection at Playtime, and the quality of the materials lives up to their descriptions. The design of their clothes is simple and functional, to easily dress your baby.

MÖM(E)

We love getting to know Möm(e) Portugal. Founded by the love of children, and the love of life. The brand cares for a high-quality, and handmade production by unique & talented people.

One More In The Family

1 + IN THE FAMILY focuses on babies clothes from 0 to 48 months. They create comfortable clothes with minimal lines, simple patterns, and with ultra-soft fabrics, that stand out. Their collections are entirely made in Barcelona with local manufactures.

Lunilou

We love the conscious design of Lunilou. Delicate designs & patterns with timeless silhouettes to pass through generations. When we visited them at Playtime, we were impressed with the softness and high quality of the fabrics. They produce in Europe and use only organic and eco-friendly materials!

Kids Wear - Fun & Playful

Bonmot Organic

This is our favourite category! The Fun & Playful brands full of positivity and happy kids clothes!

Bonmot Organic embraces this spirit with care for the planet. Their cool clothes are made with 100% organic & raw fabrics, sustainable and farmed without chemical agents, to protect the environment and the children’s skin. They design cool unisex garments with a free personality that forms their unique community.

The Campamento

Born in A Coruña, northern Spain, The Campamento is one of our long-time favourite brands! They create fun and creative designs that protect the environment. The brand tells stories about the reality that surrounds them, being inspired by the small details of their everyday lives. Their Aw22 collection is delightful, we love the unique mix of colours. 

The Campamento is the Winner of the Milk'22 Award! Congratulations on this achievement it is very well deserved!

Letter to the World

Letter to the World is an emerging brand yet to launch on this Spring, but we're already obsessed! They consider childhood to be the heart of creativity and prioritise comfort and practicality so that children feel free to express themselves. The brand dedicates all their collections to the world, using only sustainable, eco-friendly and honest materials.

We loved seeing their first collection at Playtime and are so excited for what is yet to come! For us, it is THE brand of the year.

Monday In Copenhagen

A MONDAY in Copenhagen is a Danish brand made with love. Born in 2018, they design clothes based on a simple aesthetic with elegant details that make all the difference. The brand is focused on doing the best for the planet and the little ones, using only high-quality materials that are 100% organic or OEKOTEX® certified.

We can't wait until next winter so you can check out the 'Growing Friendship' collection, it looks beautiful!

Tom & Boy

Tom & Boy is a Spanish fashion brand for children that radiates fun, art and the simple joys of childhood. Tom & Boy brings a rebellious, encouraging and adventurous essence to the little ones who wear it! We can't show you much because their Aw22 collection is still a secret, but you can see through the sneak-peeks that a super cool collection is coming, we loved it, and we can't wait for it!

Picnick Barcelona

‘We’re all mad here’ is Picnick Barcelona motto and, we’re here for it! A brand that creates clothes full of personality but with comfortable, simple shapes, trendy colours and lovely prints. We love the combination of a cool aesthetic with a soft & vintage feel!

The New Society

We have long been fans of The New Society. Their collections never disappoint. Each season they bring new and absolutely stunning designs with a fresh vibe! The brand pursues the idea of a new generation where only origins and the essence of things count. A generation that encourages people to come together and care for each other. The emotions we feel are the source of inspiration to create their outstanding timeless clothes.

Piupiuchick

Piupiuchick makes clothes for kids to enjoy their childhood. Born and locally produced in Porto, their production is done in fair human and environmentally-friendly conditions with natural, organic and recycled materials! Their collections inspire kids to make the most out of this time of their lives.

Maison Tadaboum

Maison Tadaboum is a French brand born in Paris, from the idea to create playful, soft, gender-neutral and eco-friendly clothes that appeal to the kids and the parents. They design colourful and modern prints, with a special attention to accessories so children feel happy while wearing Maison Tababoum. They produce with Oeko-Teks certified organic cotton. Copenhagen Colors

Copenhagen Colors is a new brand that brings a colourful universe for a wonderful life. They produce high-quality clothes, accessories and interiors for children aged 0-6 years, (everything is eco-friendly and sustainable). Copenhagen Colors is a playful and diverse universe and, we can’t wait to see them launch their first new collection. We saw it at Playtime and can tell you that brings novelty and happiness into the kids wear market.

Yeye Eyewear

If you are looking for a fun & playful eyewear design for your kids, Yeye Eyewear is the brand. Designed and made in France with 100% recycled materials. Their Octagonal shape is iconic!

Spring Court

Spring Court does timeless sneakers, free of seasons and genders. We love their clean and cool aesthetic, created by their rubber soles, and the organic cotton canvas or leather. Ethically made in France, they are designed to last and be kid adventure proof!

Boxbo

Designed to have fun and make memories! BOXBO is a French-Chinese brand that creates different and fun shoes that stand out from traditional models with an eco-friendly and environmentally responsible design. BOXBO designs for the children, creating shoes & accessories that are functional when they are having a good time!

KIDS DECOR

Babel Brune

Babel Brune’s vibrant design caught our eye and, we love it! They design and produce high-quality furniture, inspired by a free spirit and daring choices, reflected in their bold colours and textures. They create furniture for the whole house, but we especially loved the kids collection. We are sure that their decorative pieces create a unique room full of personality.

ILA Y ELA

ILA Y ELA has a passion for craftsmanship and creativity. They treasure traditional materials and fabrics that maintain the essence of their inspiration in Mediterranean culture. The brand steers clear of trends and stays true to its inspiration. Choosing materials such as pure linen, soft cotton, raffia or esparto grass, in neutral tones with a simple and clean design. Their production is local, eco-friendly, and almost entirely handmade to keep them close to traditional methods.

Mamie Stella

A nomadic hut? Such a simple and cool concept! Mamie Stella is a decorative and functional alternative to the homemade hut. La Guitoune is a modular cocoon that is adaptable to everywhere and to every playtime, offering endless possibilities of fun.

MinMin Copenhagen

We love a Scandinavian, sustainable design for the kids! MinMin Copenhagen creates colourful wooden toys focused on creativity, functionality and design. Their wooden toys are appealing to the parents and the kids. Perfect for everyday fun and everyday decor.

Fabelab

The playful and sustainable world of Fabelab began in 2013. It is a Scandinavian children's interior and accessories brand that believes in creating high-quality, innovative and environmentally friendly products. They want to inspire children to be creative, brave and have fun. We love seeing their collections and we highlight their upcoming Summer essentials line, which looks super cute!

Kids Care

Chouette Paris

Green beauty for kids & families, Chouette Paris is a French organic cosmetics brand for the whole family. They offer healthy 100% organic products with timeless formulas that contain no synthetic molecules. Their packaging is eco-friendly and made to consume as little as possible. We loved meeting them at Playtime their products smell amazing! We had the opportunity to try the whole range and, we are true fans. We have a special love for the soap surgras and the toothpaste.

Plus: really nice people behind the brand! We love meeting new brands and being pleasantly surprised!

Poupon

We are always looking for natural kids care brands on the market. We loved meeting Poupon, a French brand with a range of products for babies and children with a sweet smell and natural formulas. Poupon is 100% committed to sustainability and environmental care. The packaging is recycled and recyclable with its tubed made from sugar cane. (100% plastic-free!). Check their range of products for gentle care for babies & children.
